Concrete Driveway & Patio Installation in Oakland County, MI
Rolling ground and careful grades across Oakland County.
We drive up from Romulus into Oakland County every week to pour driveways and patios in Farmington, Farmington Hills, Novi, Wixom, Walled Lake, Commerce Township and West Bloomfield. Farther east we work in Birmingham, Beverly Hills, Bloomfield Township, Bloomfield Hills and Southfield. Lots here tend to be bigger and less level than the ones closer to our shop, with longer driveways, back-yard drops and patios that need to step down toward the lawn.
Most of Oakland County sits on rolling glacial till, a mix of clay, sand and stones that can change from one end of a yard to the other. We dig until we hit firm ground, rebuild with compacted 21AA and set each slope so water clears the slab and the foundation. Southfield is the exception, with flatter lake-plain clay. Many neighborhoods have HOA review, and we're glad to put together the details your board asks for.
It takes more planning. We set the grade so the slope stays drivable in winter, use a finish with good traction and pour in sections the crew can control. Steep drives are common on this ground, and we build plenty of them.
We'll provide a layout with dimensions, the finish and color you've chosen and photos of similar work. Most boards want to see size, placement and appearance. If they come back with questions, we'll help you answer them.

It can. Damp ground means we dig a bit deeper, remove anything soft and build a well-compacted 21AA base. We also pitch the patio so water moves off it and away from the house.
Yes. We can form concrete steps as part of the patio so everything is poured together. The steps can carry the same stamped or colored finish so it all reads as one piece.
It is. Oakland County jobs are a steady part of our season, and we group estimates up there so the drive works for everyone. Call (734) 720-9815 to set up a visit.
Often a little, since setup and equipment costs spread over more square feet. Slope, access and the finish still matter more than size. Your written quote will show where the money goes.
Each city or township sets its own process, and the approach at the street may need its own permit. Some roads belong to the county, which can add a step. We check your address and tell you what applies.
Yes. Flat clay holds water, so we dig out the soft layer, build a thicker base and work hard on the slope. On rolling till the focus is more on grading and finding firm ground under mixed soil.
You can. We offer financing through Wisetack, and checking your options won't affect your credit score. It's a simple way to spread out the cost of a bigger project.
